The original layout of the house featured small, isolated rooms that hindered large gatherings. To retain the existing footprint and structural integrity, this remodel introduces spacious framed openings in the walls separating the rooms. This design preserves the formality and intimacy of the spaces while enhancing connectivity, allowing for seamless transitions during larger gatherings.
