This second-story addition to a quaint seaside cottage nearly doubles the original house's square footage. The Client desired a design that would enhance the home without overpowering it, preserving its charming character. The upper-level addition features a steeply pitched roof with charming curved eaves, creating a snug yet spacious atmosphere. Generous dormers invite natural light and picturesque views into the three upper-level bedrooms, while the eaves contribute historical charm and effectively reduce the overall mass of the structure.
