Game Ranch Lodge House
Competition: 1st Place – Unbuilt
Location: Texas Hill Country
This project involves the design of a new lodge, carport, and entry tower, all connected to an existing lodge via a breezeway. The new lodge adopts a simple architectural form and incorporates the classic "dogtrot" design, a historical hallmark of Texas architecture. Practical and durable materials have been selected, including corrugated steel siding, standing seam metal roofing, flat metal panels, and wood siding. These materials blend seamlessly with both traditional and modern structures, resulting in a contemporary rustic aesthetic.
