Our passion is designing smaller energy-efficient homes that work hard for your lifestyle. We include "Pretty Good House" principles from Green Building Advisor and "The Perfect House" from the Building Science Corporation in our designs. We found that it is possible to decrease utility bills with a small investment in the up-front construction costs. Our house design utilizes standard framing practices to help Builders avoid liability & risk. By staying within the Builder's comfort zone, the project also can get fair and competitive bids. However, our design techniques will incorporate some new methods, details, or materials which achieve a quality, energy-efficient home. Those additional costs are relatively low and can be recovered quickly with available tax credits and reduced utility expenses.
